About the artist
Sigita Dabulskytė is inspired by nature, its contrasts, and rhythms. The artist depicts landscapes at intriguing moments - when the light changes - at dusk, dawn, in stillness, or growing dramatic before a storm. They are not gentle, but rather strong, at times unsettling, or calm.
The painter uses bold, vivid, and expressive brushstrokes, portraying the landscape not as a sweet and banal postcard, but as a majestic scene full of life and drama.
